Its gonna be 2005 in less than 26 hrs time.. erhm.. time flies.. we're gonna say goodbye to year 2004 and spread up our arms to welcome year 2005.. so, wats my resolution for year 2005??? Ah.. I hope there will be world peace.. no more terrorist attack, no more natural disasters, no more killings and fightings among countries.. It really sadden me to see the number of death reported from the Tsunami attack increases everytime i watch the news... Though it was a natural disaster and no one is to be blamed.. but why? why muz these innocent people be faced with these disasters.. it's really sad.. have you ever wonder if we are there, at the scene of the attack, how we will react, what we will do, how we will feel.. The thoughts of all these questions is enough to scares me.. I'll definately feel hopeless and helpless.. It's scary.. I just hope that there wont be such things happening again.. Lots of life were being taken away, lots of damages were caused, lots of harms were made.. I believed that the family members of the deceased will always remember 26th December 2004.. the day that they've lost their loved ones, the day that brings their life into darkness.. lets pray for all deceased and all their family members.. Hope they will be able to pull themselves through at this difficult period..

there's too many things for me to blog.. i realli dunnoe where to start... Erhm.. think shall go according to the date..

28th December (Today..)
It's definately mummy's day cos i accompanied my mum the whole day.. hahaha.. went over to Marks and Spencer to return my uniform and off we go for shopping.. Shopped at Mango as there's sale.. bought 2 tops there and my mum bought 1 there.. hahaha.. Mai Xiao Xiao k.. my mum wears Mango clothes.. hahaha.. then we go Chinatown.. eat at the Hawker Center and then shopped again at CK Departmenatl Store.. It's damn crowded there.. all the aunties buying their Chinese New Year clothes.. the whole Chinatown is filled with the new year mood.. There's still like 1+++ months b4 CHinese New Yr but u could hear all those Chinese New Year songs while u walked along Chinatown..

27th December (Monday)

Watched phantom of the Opera.. oh man.. it's nice, at least it is to me.. if u ain't the type who loves music or musical, then it will be a boring show for u.. just like Anthony.. hahahha.. he is a movie fanatic.. watched almost every kind of movies but he reject my offer to watch Phantom of the Opera.. hey boy, u dun noe know to appreciate ah.. hahaha.. anyway, it's a lovely musical.. my friends like Kai Wei and Geradine liked Phantom of the Opera too.. so anthony, u bleh..hahahah.. ok lah, it wasn't ur cup of tea.. hahaha.. and though there's quite a few "not so good" reviews given by the local magazine, i find it great.. think the reason could be cos i've nvr watched the real theatre phantom of the opera.. of course, a movie version is different from a opera theatre version.. dun expect the movie version to be as good as the theatre version.. but the music and singing was good.. Nice.. I Loved Phantom of the Opera.. This musical brings back all my fond memories that i and my bandmate shared in YTSS Concert Band.. My first Concert.. The concert that i was the principal horn player of the section.. the times we spent practising the songs.. The YTSS Concert Band Version of Phantom of the Opera.. They will always be in my mind...

26th Dec (Sunday)

had my family or rather relative gathering at my youngest uncle's house at GuiLin View.. think that was a rare occasion cos everyone is busy with their own work and it;s so hard to get ppl together.. ever since my grandma died 4 yrs ago, there wasn't really a gathering that almost all my relatives attend.. hiaz.. elders are always the pillar of a family.. they are the ones that hold the family tight and strong. Without them ard will be like buildings without pillar, the building will not be as strong as b4.. hiaz.. anyway, saw quite a few "long-lost" relatives.. hahaha.. no lah, just a few that i've not seen for yrs.. yes, it's yrs.. we didn't even visit some of them during chinese new yr.. or rather they are the ones who didn't visit us.. cos my mum is "older" than them.. (i mean in terms of seniority..)

my whole family tree for my mother's side is really huge.. my mum's got 7 other siblings and tt means i've got 14 uncles and aunties.. a total of 18 cousins.. and 10 of my cousins are married and 9 of them hav kids.. which means i've got 19 relatives (my cousin's kids.. i dunnoe how should i address them..) they have to address me aunty lor.. wah lau.. damn old ah.. can u imagine that ur cousin's son is 1 yr younger than u and bcos of the chinese senoirity thingy, he has to call me aunty.. OMG.. so embarassed.. can't we get rid of all those callings, that is based on senority?? it creates lots of confusions...

hahhaa, think u all muz be blurred with wat i write above.. hahaha..

yo everyone.. how's ur xmas?? i had a wonderful xmas this yr..had lots and lots of blessings from all my friends and family..

What i received this Xmas..

1) one wonderful treat from Shun at Fish and Co. (It cost him $80 for our xmas eve feast..) We were supposed to go to the Fish and co. @ the Glass House for our feast but there's so many ppl there that we decided to change our plan and head towards Novena Square.. that was a good choice as we do not need to queue at Novena Sq.. good good.. ate the set that is similar to seafood platter for two (the set comes in two soup of the day, the main dish (rice, fries, prawns, clams, squids, crayfish and scallops), 2 pineapple and lemon drinks and lastly, dessert (whick is a tiny weeny small piece of chocolates that is placed nicely in a transparent box with golden ribbons tied ard it.. )It's definately a good meal.. I simply love seafood.. esp crabs, prawns and fish.. yum yum..

2) 1 beautiful necklance from my beloved brother.
It's the first ever xmas present that he got for me.. feel so touched.. By the way, i got him an Adidas wasit pouch..

3) Christmas cards from Ann, Wan Ee and Geraldine.. Its really so thoughtful of them to send me xmas cards, esp ann ah.. thanks for all those photos too.. past years, i will always made an effort to send hand written xmas cards to all my close friends.. it had become a habit for me to send my blessings thru xmas cards to all my closest friends since pri sch.. but as i age, and as technology progress, i've become too lazy to do all these stuff.. but i promise i'll resume my habit nxt yr cos receiving a hand written xams card means more than any form of blessings that anyone would wanna receive.. it's a kind of action that shows that friends have not forgot u and they still cares for u.. ( i may sound traditional.. but i am k.. hahaha.. i treasure every cards that i've received.. i still keep every single cards tt ppl send me.. it means a lot to me.)

4) 2 pack of biscuits from Veron. Veron was my manager while i'm working at Marks and Spencer.. She's quite a nice person.. actually i'm onli given 1 pack of biscuits but since Nick wasn't here on the last two days, Veron gave me his share.. and tts explain y i got 2 pack... hahahaha..

5) Chocolate from Yee Yee and Shirley. they were both my colleagues from Marks and Spencer.. both good ppl.. so thoughtful of them to give me xmas present.. thank u..

6) A photo frame from Mazlinda (Maz) She's another one of my colleague at M&S.. One who loves wrapping and one who helped me lots when i'm left all alone at the wrapping counter and the queue is driving me crazy.. she's my saviour.. hahaha

7) A pack of chocolates from Kay (i dun know how to spell his name.. just know that ppl call him "K") he is the sales supervisor of menswear dept at CP. he's a hunk man.. *drool drool* but he is an older hunk.. hahaha.. think he's in his thirties and he is the father of his 3 kids but he really looked so so.. different.. he got the Allan Wu look and he looked so "MAN".. whahahahaha.. kaiyi noe wat i mean.. and she too agrees that he is .. different.. hahaha (Kaiyi, jealous a not? he gave me present leh.. hahaha. *wink wink*) oh yah, a point to add.. he's a Thai.. but he dun look like one.. he look like a pure Chinese who doesn't really know how to speak Chinese.. hahaha.. just like Allan Wu... i'm drooling again.. hahaha.. but he's too old.. so sad..

8) Towel set from the gift exchange session at M&S.. consists of a big towel, a towel kind of handkerchief and a floor mat look a like..

9) SMSs from all the below mentioned ppl.. wanzi, meowling, liting (poly), philip, joey (m&s), darren, kay (k), liting (pri), qiumin aka joey, magdelene, kaiyi, kristin, kai wei, yi kai, bryan, mingshan...

All i want for Christmas is one whole greedy list of items... hahahaha
(not in any preference order)

01) More clothes.. but it's quite hard to find clothes that suit me cos i'm looking
for clothes that can hide my weakness.. (make my flabby arms smaller and my not
that small tummy unnoticeable..)

02) More beauty care products (foot scrub, hand and nail lotion, moisturiser, toner,
face spa product, face mask, body scrub..)

03) Nokia N7610 (the white one..)

04) A new watch (preferably a pink or red wan..)

05) Hope Shun will be able to get well soon (his knees are giving him problem..)

06) To watch Phantom of The Opera in Theatre

07) To go cycling (hey, i finally know how to cycle.. all thanks to Mr Loo Lian You
and Ann.. they are the ones who helped me to overcome my fear of falling down
from bicycle)

08) Learn rollerskating

09) Able to cope with my studies next term and hopefully maintain my GPA of 3.25 or
achieve better GPA

10) To get debbie the Precious Moment sweets.. (Precious Moment came up with their
own sweets.. i know debbie will surely love it..)

My wonderful Saturday..

Had my first weekend off day yesterday and i really enjoyed every single moment of it. Shun and I made our way down to Orchard for our shopping spree (not actually shopping spree lah.. hahaha..) Btw, we hadn't went shopping together since i started work (or should i said since i started my exams?? dunno lah..) anyway, we walked from Tangs to Lucky Plaza to Paragon then to Hereen, OG (the old one), Centerpoint, OG Orchard Point and lastly to Plaza Singapura.. yes, we walked and shopped all the way.. it's so enjoying and satisfying.. hee hee~~ discovered lots of changes in these places (or the changes were made long ago and it's us that didn't discovered it at all then.. hahaha.. think we too "mountain turtle") Tangs had their revamp.. totally change of style in their presentation of their merchandise.. i feel that the change was good.. it creates a better image for Tangs.. one point to add, the mannequin looked so so so real man.. theirs aren't the usual forever in the same position manequin, theirs have various poses and if we wont observant enough, we would have thought that the mannequin is a real human being.. ok, tts all for Tangs.. after Tangs, we have Lucky Plaza, OMG, Baleno having 40% discount storewide.. i'm so sad.. i bought a Baleno skirt the other day when they were having a 20% discount for tops and 30% discounts for bottom..shit man, should have waited slightly longer to enjoy the additional 10% discount.. so heart pain now..

Paragon
proceeded on to Paragon and visited Kai wei.. she's busy there.. so we went over to Metro.. wow, Metro's wrapping paper is so colourful.. it's in stripes of lime green, orange, blue... nice nice..

Hereen
bought a mug at Mini Toon.. wats so special abt the mug??? it is an empty mug with 6 markers attached with it.. and that means.. u get to decorate the mug with those super fast dry marker and create ur very own mug.. cool man.. i also bought a pair of shoes.. it looked like those ballet shoe.. those kawaii kawaii kind.. and it's in white colour.. i loved it man.. but Shun didn't really liked it but i dun care.. i'm the one wearing it and so i went ahead and bought it.. (or should i say he bought it for me.. hahaha.. cos we used his card to pay for the shoe.. hahaha.. but i'll pay him back once i've received my salary.. i'm financially independent.. hee hee~~)

went to look for Kaiyi, Kristin and Nick.. It's saturday and of course it's crowded, so i didn't stayed long there..

PS
was super tired by the time we reached PS.. PS was as usual, super crowded.. walked a while and we took train to City Hall.. we were meeting Shun's friends at City Hall as they were having their poly class gathering..

i'm a little extra there.. hahaha.. cos i'm not part of their class.. hahaha.. but who cares, by the way, all of them noe me.. hahaha.. see, how famous am I.. hahaha.. but i still feel a bit weird cos i wasn't that close with them (esp the girls).. but luckily, garick (one of Shun's friends) brought his girlfriend along.. and so i'm not the onli extra.. hahaha.. they decided to eat at one of the Indonesian restaurant in Suntec.. but to our avail, it's fully booked.. so, we had to change our plan and look for a new place to eat.. went down to basement and queue for fish and co. and at the same time, pizza hut.. it's quite hard to get seats for 15 ppl..
finally, we had dinner at pizza hut, and as we had 15 ppl, we hav to sit in two separate tables.. and as the guys gonna have their heros meeting, all of them sat in one table while me and garick's gf sat with the other girls on another table..

after dinner, we walked to esplanade and took pictures and chit chat.. then left for home... we took the last train home man.. and as Shun had to accompany me home, he got to give a miss to join the guys at ChinaBlack.. hey, it's not me who dun allowed him to go k.. he can still go as long as i'm safe at home..

oh yeah, i'm working c shift today and having my off day tml.. yippie yeah.. tml shall be the day.. the day for shopping and fun.. hahaha.. i'm gonna watch movie tml, shopped for xmas presents and finally meet up with Shun's friends for their gathering at night.. so happi.. hahahahaha...

oh, ann visited me at my workplace last sun.. (hey ann, if u're reading this, darren said u've slim down a lot.. and sorry that didn't really hav a chance to chat with u then cos i'm too busy.. u've got urself a new job rite? work hard and enjoy ur job..)

and also to sherie, hee hee~~ supposed to meet up with u after my exams but now i'm working so didn't really hav the time.. sorry.. shall make it after xmas or first few weeks of my new shool term k? (cos i'm having a 3 day week time table...hee hee~~)

it's my off day again.. hahaha.. time flies when u work.. sob sob.. christmas is next week.. hav anyone get ready ur christmas present.. i'm having a headache.. we are having gift exchange at M&S.. and each of us have to get at least $20 for the gift exchange.. i dunnoe wat to get.. help help.. and to make things worse, they set up the no food rule.. meaning lesser choice to choose cos we weren't allow to buy food as gifts.. sigh.. wat should i get?? maybe a beauty set from body shop or homeware or ..... ai yo.. hiaz.. just grab anything that i could find... hahaha

As mentioned in my previous post, Shun knew his posting last friday.. and i'm so gla d for him that he managed to get out of that sickening and isolated island.. yeah.. now he's posted to the air force.. and will be an air defence system specialist.. i'm so proud of him.. and he will be in the blue air force uniform.. oh gosh, i love that man.. it's so much nicer than the green army uniform...hahahaha..

hee hee~~ still stuck at home at these time.. hiaz.. so sad man.. but i'll go out later on.. gonna get myself the foot scrub from body shop.. need to let my foot relax and enjoy the scrub.. hahahaha... anyway, all my results are out today.. din do too well neither did i do too badly.. though there is some disappointment but there are surprises too... hahahaha i'm talking rubbish again.. anyway, i've got an A- for Financial Accounting, a B+ for Satistic, a B for Communication: Competencies and Strategies and another B for Leadership and Teambuilding.

i'm dead beat.. just set my butt onto the chair and here i am blogging.. hee hee~~ didn't blog for the past few days as i'm too tired and lazy to do anything.. hahaha.. I'm so so so so happy today.. partly cos i'm having off tml, partly also bcos i finally felt myself being "useful" at work.. hahaha.. i helped the menswear and children dept to put up their stock today.. actually i prefer serving customers and replenishing stock.. it's the satisfaction that u get at the end of the day that spur u to perform better.. hahaha.. though we are serving customers when we perform gift wrapping for them, but the feeling and experience is totally different.. hahaha.. i enjoyed seeing customers getting their desired merchandise (through my assistance) and watching them going out of the store with a satisfied grin on their face.. it made me feel so proud of myself..making others happy is making yourself happy.. hahaha.. i enjoy hearing "Thank you", "You are such a great help", etc etc.. all these really make me feel so so so so so happy at work..

ok, shall stop all those rubbish. anyway, i had dinner with annery (the receptionist cum admin assistant at M&S Centerpoint and it's so kind of her to treat me delifrance dinner.. so sweet of her.. ok, shall get her a X'mas present to thank her for her treat and help all these while... erhm.. wat else do i wanna talk abt.. oh, tml i'm having off.. and Shun will most likely book out tml.. hope he comes out latest by early afternoon... he finishes his Sispec (basic) training tml and he will be told where he will be posted to by tml.. either he carries on for the Sispec(Advanced) course or he will be posted out to the various units.. i know he hopes to get out of Tekong and get posted to other unit and i also know that the chances of being posted out of Tekong is quite slim.. nevertheless, i still hope he can get into where he wans to go.. but no matter where he will be, i know he will be able to perform all his required duties as a soldier and get himself promoted to Sergeant Wong.. hahahaha..

Good evening.. i just woke up from my nap.. OMG.. i feel so lazy now.. hahaha.. today is my first off day.. woke up at 9++a.m.. played games till 2++ p.m. and then had my afternoon nap till now.. hahaha... that's how i spent my precious off day..

oh yah, Shun and me went to eat at the outdoor hawker opposite centerpoint last friday.. hiaz.. it's a disappointment.. the food there were supposed to be the best in s'pore.. but the char kuay teow and hokkien mee tasted like shit.. not nice at all.. think there's too many ppl there and they lose their standard cos they wanna serve faster.. but the bbq chicken wing was nice.

After eating at the outdoor hawker, i'm still not full.. not satisfied AT ALL.. then we went over to cineleisure for our second round of dinner.. went to their newly renovated food court. there's cafe cartel there man.. but the ambience is not so nice compared to their other outlet. anyway, we went to a japanese fast food restaurant at cineleisure.. the food is affordable and delicious.. yummy yummy..

Today is my first day of work.. not too bad.. there wasn't much customers... hahaha.. no, i should say not much presents for me to wrap.. and i did my first wrapping of wine today.. quite satisfied with my performance for the wine bottle.. at least it looked a lot lot better from wat i wrapped last year.. there's improvements.. hahaha

anyway, u ppl out there.. if u all wanna see me, do come down to Marks and Spencer @ Centerpoint 1st Level.. (the gift wrapping counter is behind the escalator.. look thoroughly if not u'll miss it..hee hee~) and i'll be there tml the whole day.. yes, that is from the opening of the store which is at 10.30am to the closing of the store that is 10p.m.. hiaz... gonna die tml.. die of tiredness and leg pain.. OMG.. somebody pls save me..

halo everybody.. anyone watched Singapore Idol last night.. oh man, it's marvellous.. the songs they sang were so so so nice.. i just loved listening to nice singings.. hahaha..and pretty obvious, taufik won. he is the first ever Singapore Idol.. i do agree with the outcome of the results. Taufik sang better than Sly. but i dun think Sly lost in this competition, he got himself a reocording contract.. (i saw it on the papers today.. the recording company gonna hav him record a chinese album)good for him.. and i luv the way Sly sang "I dream" and i believed that's his best performance yesterday.. I'm looking foreward for their album..
